Mhk 4+5 gebrochen, mittig gespalten, 5mm Spalt im Knochen und Ich habe mich gegen eine Op entschieden. Das Risiko , die Hand nie wieder wie gewohnt nutzen zu können scheint mir bei einer Op mit Platten und Schrauben, höher als bei der natürlichen Selbstheilung des Körpers.

Doctor O did mine ("The Works...") in 2007; truthfully, I slept through the entire procedure. Recovery was tough...worse was the nose splints he used to keep the nasal passages open until healed, probably 5 days. Was such a relief to get the nose packing out. Would I do it again? In retrospect, yes, but I'm dialling out all the discomfort involved. Memory of the discomfort fades, the results stay. Took about a year for everything to finally settle in. Co-workers said "you look tired"...well, yeah. Thanks for putting the process to an animation - nice to see what was involved.

I’m 3 months post op from this same exact surgery. 1st two weeks are pretty rough. I’m still swollen and numb. It takes about 5-6 months for swelling to be gone and 1yr to see the final results. But I don’t regret it one bit.

If anyone is curious on looking into it for themselves, here are the three steps needed to get saved and be right with God who loved us all, for eternal life. ;) Step 1. I believe that Jesus is the Lord, who died, was buried and resurrected so that his precious blood can wash away my sins. I trust in him alone to save me. Nothing else. Not my good works or anything else. Only Jesus. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Ich haben die Op am Oberkiefer gemacht und muss sagen die ersten 3 Tage waren nur richtig schlimm. Vor allem die ersten Stunden. Nach dem aufwachen von der Narkose hat man einfach nur Todes Durst und man denkt man verdurstet. Mein Hals und meine Zunge haben vor Durst gebrannt, dass war so schlimm. Und ich konnte auch Nix essen ( auch keine Suppe ) mein Mund ging nicht zu nachts und er trocknete oft so krass aus. Ich konnte am Tag höchstens paar schlucke nur trinken. Das war eigentlich das unangenehmste. Schmerzen hat man nicht wirklich da man gutes Schmerzmittel bekommt. Man ist einfach dann froh zuhause zu sein. Zuhause muss man natürlich auf Suppen und flüssig Kost zugreifen und einfach es Haushalt und geduldig sein. Heute ist die Op 2 Wochen her und ich hab so Bock ein einen fetten Döner 😂. Alles gute an alle die die Op machen müssen. Kopf hoch, man kann alles aushalten mit dem richtigen mindset 💪🏻 alles geht vorbei
